Autism Society Acadiana is hosting the second annual Autism 101 Workshop. This workshop will be different from last year's 101 workshop as we will have several sessions to choose from. It will be very informative, especially for new autism families.
These are the sessions:
Adults- How to guide for securing a job or volunteer position.
Early childhood strategies for children on the spectrum.
What is an IEP and how do I get what my child needs at school?
Panel of individuals on the spectrum answering questions
Make and take (visual schedules and sensory boxes)
Panel of alternative schooling options
Please invite extended family members and any teacher or professional you think may benefit from the information.
