Feb 04, 2013 BATON ROUGE – Today, Governor Bobby Jindal announced the reappointment of Louis Reine to the Occupational Forecasting Conference. The Occupational Forecasting Conference serves to project job growth and demand in Louisiana and determine the strategies necessary to fill such needs. According to statute, the conference is comprised of nine members, subject to senate confirmation. The conference includes the governor, the executive director of the Louisiana Workforce Commission, the secretary of the Department of Economic Development, and the president of the Louisiana Community and Technical College System or their designees. The remaining four members are the following gubernatorial appointments:
Louis Reine, of Baton Rouge, is the President of the Louisiana AFL-CIO. Reine will be reappointed to serve as a member selected from nominations submitted by the Louisiana AFL-CIO, as required by statute. ### |
