BATON ROUGE - Today, Governor John Bel Edwards announced his appointments to several Louisiana boards and commissions.

Gov. Edwards announced appointments to the following boards and commissions:

Wildlife and Fisheries

William D. Hogan, of Ruston, was appointed to the Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission. Mr. Hogan is the President and CEO of Bank of Ruston and will serve as an at-large member of the Commission.

Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board

Laurie T. Cormier, of Lake Charles, was reappointed to the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board. Ms. Cormier is the Coastal Zone Manager for the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury and will serve as a representative of an area in a coastal zone west of the Atchafalaya River.

Windell A. Curole, of Larose, was reappointed to the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board. Mr. Curole is the General Manager of the South Lafourche Levee District and will serve as a representative of an area of the coastal zone east of the Atchafalaya River

William H. “Bill” Hidalgo Sr., of Patterson, was reappointed to the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board. A managing member/owner of Halimar Shipyard, LLC, Mr. Hidalgo will serve as a representative of an area located west of the Atchafalaya River.

Guy S. McInnis, of Chalmette, was appointed to the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board. The Parish President of St. Bernard, Mr. McInnis will serve as a representative of an area of the coastal zone located east of the Atchafalaya River.

Steven C. “Steve” Wilson, of Destrehan, was reappointed to the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board. Ms. Wilson recently retired from Motiva Enterprises where he served as an Environmental Assurance Coordinated for over 15 years. Mr. Wilson will serve as a representative of an area of the coastal zone east of the Atchafalaya River.

Nyka M. Scott, of New Orleans, was reappointed to the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority Board. Ms. Scott is Executive Counsel for the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority-East and will serve as a representative of the coastal zone east of the Atchafalaya River.

Tensas Basin Levee District

Jonathan A. Johnson, of Monroe, was appointed to the Tensas Basin Levee District. Mr. Johnson is the President and Owner of Summit Advisory and will serve as one of the representatives of Ouachita Parish on the board.

Louisiana Emergency Response Network

Jeanette Ray, of New Orleans, was appointed to the Louisiana Emergency Response Network. Ms. Ray was nominated by the Louisiana Hospital Association to serve as the representative of the Rehabilitation Constituency Group.

Louisiana Lottery Corporation

Sean E. Wells, of Covington, was appointed to the Louisiana Lottery Corporation. Mr. Wells is a Senior Division Manager at Allergan Pharmaceuticals and will serve as the representative of the 1st Congressional District.

Dudley A. “Butch” Gautreaux, of Morgan City, was appointed to the Louisiana Lottery Corporation. Mr. Gautreaux served in the Louisiana State Senate from 2000 until 2012 and in the Louisiana House of Representatives from 1996 to 2000. Mr. Gautreaux will serve as a representative of the state at large.

Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council

Randall W. Brown Jr., of Haughton, was appointed to the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Mr. Brown will serve as a representative of an individual with a developmental disability.

Carmen Cetnar, of Lafayette, was appointed to the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Ms. Cetnar will serve as a representative of a parent of a child with a developmental disability.

Robert W. Paddy, of Greenwood, was appointed to the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Mr. Paddy will serve as a representative of a parent of a child with a developmental disability.

Stephanie M. Patrick, of New Orleans, was reappointed to the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Ms. Patrick will serve as the representative of the Louisiana Advocacy Center.

Bambi Polotzola, of Opelousas, was appointed to the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Ms. Polotzola will serve as the representative of the Governor’s Office of Disability Affairs.

Tara N. Smith, of Madisonville, was appointed to the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Ms. Smith will serve as a representative of a parent of a child with a developmental disability.

Philip G. Wilson, Ph.D., of Destrehan, was reappointed to the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Dr. Wilson will serve as the representative of the LSUHSC Human Development Center.

Jamie B. Wong, of Baton Rouge, was reappointed to the Louisiana Developmental Disabilities Council. Ms. Wong will serve as the representative of the Department of Education.

Ernest N. Morial-New Orleans Exhibition Authority

Robert F. Hammond, of Ponchatoula, was appointed to the Ernest N. Morial-New Orleans Exhibition Authority. Mr. Hammond is the President of the Greater New Orleans AFL-CIO and an electrician by trade. Mr. Hammond will serve as an at-large member of the board.

Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority – East

Mark L. Morgan, of Baton Rouge, was appointed to the Southeast Louisiana Flood Protection Authority – East. Mr. Morgan is the President of SEMS, Inc., an Environmental Engineering and Remediation Company. Mr. Morgan has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from Louisiana State University. Mr. Morgan was nominated by the statutorily required nominating committee.
